More from Paris. A day spent walking round Le Marais (visiting one of my all time favourite
cake shops), then all the way down Rue de Rivoli for the Jitrois show. After which I popped into
the Tuileries for a wander since it was such sunny weather.

Since finding peace with streetstyle (although it took a while, and a lot of thinking, and even
more writing come ranting) here are some of my photos from outside the Maison Martin
Margiela SS13 show in Paris this September.

Speaking of MMM- SO excited for H&M collaboration. I've never bought anything from the
designer collabs they do but I think I might have to pop my cherry with this one.

Photos from Moscow that I took on my beloved Pentax. It just makes everything look so good.

(Vintage skirt and backpack, Paul Frank t-shirt, Hobbs boots, Ciaté nail varnish in Golden Sands)

Shot a few weeks back- when the idea of having bare legs and no jumper seemed just about
feasible. I used to wear this t-shirt when I was younger, and used to love all the Paul Frank
drawings. This one is the giraffe, and I like the old-become-new use of it as a graphic t-shirt.
Not quite a Givenchy shark, but it'll do for the moment whilst I have no money.

The beautiful flat I got to stay in during my stay in Paris. Belonging to a family friend,
whose husband is an architect, it is the perfect mix of traditional and modern- with
big cement walls and open spaces- creating definitive derelict chic.
+ obligatory balcony photo.

Yes yes, more from Paris.

I'm really glad I went to Paris on a whim a couple weeks back, I think I almost wanted to run
away there. But strangely it made me lust for London more than I ever have, made me realise
that knowing somewhere doesn't mean it's time to leave. It was almost like I just needed to get
the fantasy of Paris out of my head- revisit my childhood before I could properly become an
adult.

This is why I love French pharmacies. The two best products ever.

My shots of Garance Doré and crew outside the Viktor & Rolf show in the Tuileries in Paris.
I'm a big fan of Garance (especially since that's my middle name!) and the Pardon My French
videos that she and her team make for Net-A-Porter. I was watching the fourth installment of the
Paris Diary, and suddenly there I was in the background, having just taken the above photo
of Garance. I was childishly excited- I mean I'm just blurred in the background- but the fact I
was there somehow made me happy. Silly? Of course.
