Some light Friday inspiration. It's always nice to post photos other than my own on
the blog. Although it's great to have a place where you've created the content, I like
inspiring myself and seeing images that I love looking at alongside my own.
These ones are highlighting my accidental tumblr obsession with white walls and green
leafy plants.

When pretty pots finally find their use and happily house the three new Lancôme x
Alber Elbaz mascaras. Phewy. Fluttering green eyes, blue stars and red hearts turn
Lancôme's best selling mascaras Hypnôse, Hypnôse STAR and Hypnôse Doll Eyes
(you have no idea how many circumflexed O's I just copied and pasted from Google)
into mini Alber Elbaz creations. Inside they're Lancôme, outside they're Alber; the
best of both worlds.

(all vintage, H&M sunglasses)

More climbing, more dining. (And still very much on cacti-watch).
Wishing my skin was still so glowing with sun rays and that I could eat dinner on the edge
of a cliff looking down at the sea.
In other news: I'm old. Well. For me. When you're a child you assume by the time you turn
23 you'll have a house, a full-time well-paid job, a husband... Maybe that's when you're
thirty three?

My first time in Italy meant non stop ice cream, pizza and mozzarella (and bruschetta, coffee,
olive oil, and bread...) The happiest of times is when everything is so delicious that you don't
care if they stop you at check in because you're carrying too much weight. Or, more
precisely, smuggling Parmesan.
Note to self: need a ready-to-go lollipop fridge.

Growing vegetables on Southbank? Um, yeah actually. I came across these last week on an
evening walk and thought I'd go back, mainly to show my cousin who is visiting from New
York but also mainly because I heart plants. As I'm sure you've noticed. And these are edible
plants, and you get to find out about which family of vegetables they're in. And since I'd just
fallen asleep in a gallery (for real) I thought only such an exciting activity could wake me up.

As much as I will proclaim my fondness for plants, check out my Nike's yo. Finally finally finally
got the black and white pair I have lusted after for so long and I'm shoving them in everyone's
face, including yours. So have a good look. (Or don't as I probably won't take them off for the
next few months).

Walking up a steep hill in hot weather has never been so worth it. And also makes you feel
like you most certainly deserve a big slice of cake for breakfast.
Casa e Bottega was a great mix of fresh food, strong coffee and beautiful design (which was
all sold in the shop). Plus extra brownie points for having a cactus inside. I was on cacti high
alert at all times in Italy.

Just about managing to restrain myself to post more about Italy. For the meantime anyway.
Especially when something like Chanel pops up. As I'm sure everyone has seen flooded
over instagram and twitter- there's a new Chanel store in town, guys. I haven't had the chance
to visit yet, but it's on my agenda this week. Along with painting my wardrobe white, finally
doing some hand washing and attending at least four birthday parties (why is everyone born
in June?) (That includes me, too).
Anyway. Chanel Hydra Beauty. A new Gel Yeux and Essence Mist have been launched to add
to the already stellar range. I was lucky enough to be gifted these from the beauty girls at
ELLE alongside the UV Essential SPF 20 - which, since I've slowly but surely become a
sun protection nazi is the perfect third piece to this Chanel puzzle.

A quick glimpse of Italy, where I've been for the last week. I finally visited Positano on
the Almalfi Coast- the most postcard-photo-ready town you have ever seen. This was also
my first time in Italy so I made sure to eat ice-cream, pizza, mozzarella and bruchetta at least
three times once a day. We were lucky enough to see some sunshine, but it seems we brought
back the clouds to London. Sorry about that.

Wearing- all vintage
