Returning to Oxford for the first time in a year allowed me to feel like a tourist 
in my own town, and I revelled in seeing it with fresh eyes.

Cyclists everywhere and beautiful architecture - those Greek columns! - were the differences 
to Sydney that I noticed most. Culture and history is what Oxford is rich in, and I happily lapped 
it up on my first afternoon back (yup - I had just got off my 23 hour flight so excuse my 
slightly bedazzled expression) but wandering through familiar streets, visiting the Ashmolean 
and grabbing a coffee in the sun in Jericho with my mum were just what the jetlag Doctor 
ordered.
