TESS.YOPP.
A couple of weeks ago I got to interview stylist Tess Yopp. We had coffee and I told her my
only line of Russian (and she nearly spat her coffee out, checking that I was aware of what I
just said. I did. She laughed). A few days ago, I was looking through my photos from after the
SS13 Ashish show and I recognised her in a couple of them. I hadn’t posted and I thought they
showed Tess’ style perfectly- the almost over the top clothes paired with undone, relaxed
hair and make up. I think it’s a great combination. I think either you need to have ‘done’ your
make up or your clothes, both is too much in real life, it tends to look like you’re trying too
hard.
