MAKING.IT.WORTH.IT.
Some of you may remember when I went to Paris last October for fashion week, and wrote
a lot about the whole ‘street style’ thing. And kind of being a ‘streetstyle photographer’ for the
week to see what all the fuss was about. I had some bad times, some good. One of the best
was outside Margiela when I took some of my favourite photos in a long time, and made my
trip to Paris really worth it (not that you ever need much of an excuse to go).
Today I was happily scrolling through tumblr when I came across my image of Sky, above.
To find out it had more than 21,000 reblogs. It sounds silly perhaps, but it made me smile. Of
all the photographers I have discovered on Tumblr it was crazy that my photo, yes, little old
me, had been appreciated by so many people. It makes it seem worth while, all the stuff I do
and the photos I take and the trips (that I fund myself with the little I have) like this one, that
someone out there might actually appreciate some of it. So thank you, annonymous tumblr
rebloggers, for making my day.
