EVERYDAY BEAUTY.

Some of the beauty products I use everyday, and some of the books I force myself to put my
laptop down for. I love reading. I write, so you have to enjoy reading- but it’s harder than
you think to make yourself stop playing on social media or editing photos. The easiest time
to read is when there’s really nothing much else to do: plane journey, bath, end of
the world.
Anyway, back to the products. This Clarins HydraQuench mask has been a favourite since
trying it last summer- it’s a thick cream and you can apply as much as you like on your
face, leave for 5-10 minutes, then when you wash it off your skin is glowing and softer than
ever. I normally find ‘hydrating’ masks can actually sting and irritate my skin, but this one
calms and cools it.

Although oil actually makes my skin dry (I have no idea) (little round patches) (please tell me
why) I like mixing a couple drops of Aesop’s Fabulous Face Oil into a cream and using it more
as a booster when my skin gets really dry. Man Tip: It’s also doubles as a great beard oil for my
boyfriend. I recently discovered this REN Hot Cloth Cleanser and I can’t stop using it. I’ve had
some trouble with using rose infused products in the past but this one is so creamy and gentle
that there’s nothing to complain about. Plus it comes with a great flannel to help get every little

bit of make up off.

The Aesop handwash and Maison Francis Kurkdjian candles are also favourites that find
themselves used daily around my house.
