Intriguing femininity from Estée Lauder’s granddaughter, Aerin, in fragrance form.

I’ve always loved the smell of jasmine. It’s one of the scents that trasnports me directly to the act
of sticking my head in a jasmine plant at Columbia Road flower market, and taking one home
to cherish – and sniff – whenever I pleased. It’s such a powerful smell that everyone immediately
notices when they walk into the room, so having jasmine in my perfume hopefully creates the
same affect.

It’s noticeable yet subtle.

Aerin (aka Aerin Lauder, granddaughter and heiress of Estée Lauder) recently launched her
fragrance collection here in Australia, and Ikat Jasmine was the one I was immediately drawn
to, although the others sounded pretty amazing too (Amber Musk, you’re next). I love the design
of the bottle and packaing, each fragrance from the new collection has a different gem stone on
the lid and design on the box.

Beautiful, modern and smells good – what more could you ask for?
