SUMMER SKIN ALL YEAR ROUND.
Having moved back from Sydney to London, one of the main changes has been the weather and the seasons. For the past two years it’s been achingly hot at Christmas, and now I’ve returned to England the skies are – unsurprisingly – grey. And as much as I’m looking forward to a cold Christmas surrounded by my family, my skin was starting to get paler and duller by the day and it was time to inject some life and colour back into it.
The products I use for this get the blood flowing, add colour and nourish the skin on both my face and my body.
BODY SCRUB
Sukin’s Renewing Body Scrub is a great way to remove dead skin cells and leave you silky soft.
BODY OIL
The Superskin Dry Oil from Liz Earle has become a bathroom fixture thanks to its super hydrating
powers that doesn’t leave the skin feeling sticky like other oils can.
BODY TAN
I’m not a massive ‘fake tan’ girl, I just like to look like I’ve got some life and colour in my skin. I
have two favourite products for this – Luna Bronze if I want an all over darker look, or the Clarins
Radiance Plus Golden Glow Booster which allows you to decide how much or little colour you
want as you simply add the desired amount into your regular moisturiser.
FACE TAN
I also love using the Clarins drops on my face, but recently I also discovered the By Terry Serum
Terrybly Sun Booster which works by using Auto-Radiant technology that brings the melanin to
the service of the skin, rather than putting a fake colour on top of it, it uses the melanin you would
naturally produce in the sun.
