Visiting the famous hair colorist in his Parisian salon.

If you’ve read this blog for a while it’ll come as no surprise that I love the hair care products from Christophe Robin, his purifying salt scrub and volumising rosewater mist are two things I cannot go without.

I’ve been meaning to get my hair dyed dark brown again (two seconds in the sun and it’s blonde!) so when I was in Paris a couple weeks ago I made a point of booking an appointment at the Christophe Robin salon. He is famous for having the best colour, and treating sensitised hair and now I know why – the colour I was going for was understood so well, we even spent some time flicking through pictures to get the perfect shade that would suit my colouring.

I’m extremely happy with the results, the colour is so rich and hasn’t faded at all since it was done. My friend Jess also came with me for a blow dry and fringe trim (photo below) and in true french style, they used their hands and heat alone to give her that perfectly tousled wave.
