TRAVELLING BEAUTY.

What I took with me to LA and San Francisco.

SKINCARE

Cleanse
Cleansers normally come in big bottles, so I always make sure I have some travel sizes handy. For this trip I used a mini Elemis Pro-Collagen Balm to remove my makeup and the Dermalogica Microfoliant as a second cleanse and in the morning.

SPF
When I travel, I more often than not head somewhere sunny, and the SPF50 for face from Sisley has become my go to. Non greasy, it doesn’t feel like you’re wearing anything.

Mask
A favourite mask of mine for travelling is the Copaiba mask from Pai, which exfoliates the skin and draws out impurities, perfect post flight. The mini Glamglow tubes are also great fun and the perfect size for travel.

Serum
Alongside my longstanding favourite, Estée Lauder’s Advanced Night Repair, this trip I also used the Peter Thomas Roth Water Drench serumwhich gave my tired skin a hit of hydration.
When I need some extra loving, the Copper Amino Isolate Serum from Niod soothes and repairs.

Cream
When I’m travelling, my skin is being exposed to lots of new elements (different water, cabin pressure, changing temperatures…) and so the Black Bee Honey Balm from Guerlain was my saviour as it replenishes and nourishes weakened and dry skin.

MAKEUP

Base
After applying the Darphin Intral Environmental LightWeight Shield to protect from sun and pollution, my go to this trip was the new Sisley Instant Glow primer which perfects the skin tone and adds a glow. As foundation I used the Armani Silk Foundation which seemingly can do no harm – even in 40 degree heat of LA it stayed put!

Eyes
I love easy to use products, and the eye tint from Armani is just that. I apply a dot of product to each eye before blending for a natural colour.

Cheeks
Nothing beats a cream blusher when you’re going for that glowing look. The Elizabeth Arden Cool Glow cheek tint has become my new favourite.

HAIR

Again, minis rule. When I get out the shower I use the Oribe Gold Lust Nourishing Oil on the ends, and then spritz Bumble and bumble surf spray to add texture. Sometimes I’ll use this on dry hair too when I want to style it a bit.
