THE SKIN YOU’RE IN.
Since you guys seem to like my dressing table photos so much, I thought I’d show you what’s currently making the cut.
La Mer Renewal Oil
This is called an oil, but it’s more of a serum or elixir in consistency. It’s not a heavy duty oil, in fact it’s so light it absorbs straight into the skin. This is a favourite of mine to apply before makeup or mix into my foundation for an added glow. HERE. And yes it is very expensive, so this is a great dupe.
Herbivore Botanicals Pink Cloud
As if the name isn’t enough to get your attention… Pink Cloud is a rosewater based moisturiser, with aloe and white tea extracts it’s really soothing and hydrating to the skin. It’s lightweight and dewy. Heaven. HERE.
Estée Lauder Advanced Night Repair
Probably the thousandth time I mention this product I know, but for a reason. I use it every night to help repair my skin overnight (when skin is regenerating itself most, as in the day it’s spending it’s energy on protecting itself free radicals) I love getting messages on instagram from some of you who have bought it and loved it as much as I do. HERE.
Avène A-Oxitive
Pollution is one of the biggest problem-causing factors of our modern lives, so it’s really important to use anti-oxidants to protect your skin throughout the day. This contains two powerful antioxidants alongside the soothing Avène thermal water and gives you a great glow. HERE.
La Prairie Swiss Ice Crystal Serum
If your skin is feeling a bit dull and under the weather from winter and you’re looking for something to give it a lease of life, Ice Crystal is for you. It’s a luxurious texture to apply, I use 2 drops in the morning to wake my skin up. HERE.
Elizabeth Arden Superstart Skin Renewal Booster
Want your skincare products to work even better? Then use this. I apply this after cleansing (pre serum) and not only will it allow the serum to penetrate into the skin more easily, it’ll help repair the surface layer of the skin. HERE.
La Roche Posay Effaclar Duo
My all time favourite for dealing with breakouts on sensitive skin. When I can feel a breakout coming on I’ll make sure to use this to keep them at bay. Using salicylic acid and zinc alongside hydrating ingredients, it’s a non drying acne product that really works. HERE.
Sisley Confort Extrême
Cold days and heating don’t make for glowing skin. This moisturiser is specifically for dry and sensitive skin and I feel really protected from the elements when I use this. HERE. Again, this is very expensive so this is a good dupe.
Biologique Recherche P50W
The OG of chemical exfoliants, this cult french product has remained one of the most popular products from the brand since 1970! Alongside removing dead skin cells it also regulates sebum production, balances the skin’s pH, hydrates and actually enhances epidermal renewal (that’s the outer layer of your skin). HERE.
Byredo Velvet Haze
This has been my favourite scent since it’s release in autumn. Mixing patchouli, musk and ambrette it’s somewhere between a warm, earthy garden and a bonfire. HERE.
