DAYWEAR.

I’ve been a long term fan of Estée Lauder Daywear cream, and the new sorbet texture that launched earlier this year became a fast favourite as my combination skin loves anything that feels super lightweight and sinks straight in. It feels immediately hydrating and refreshing.

I see moisturiser as one of the most important parts of my skincare routine: it’s the final step that means the ingredients from your serums and actives are locked in for the day, and creates a barrier to mean moisture won’t leave your skin – and with Daywear it’s a long lasting, 72 hour, hydration.

On top of this it’s also got 5 antioxidants, to help protect the skin from free radicals (that’s smoke, pollution, stress) that can damage the skin, and with a broad spectrum SPF it’s also protecting you against sun – and blue light! – damage.

I love that Daywear is oil free. For someone like me with combination skin using an oil free moisturiser is perfect for day as I want to deeply hydrate the skin so that it produces less oil itself, yet be hydrated enough to stop if from drying out. My skin tends to be more dehydrated – especially in the warmer months – and Daywear provides the long lasting hydration my skin needs.

I think moisturisers are one of the most important skincare items that we all have in our routine, and that’s why it’s so important to find the right one for you and your skin type and needs. Estée Lauder have such an incredible range of moisturisers, and you can take the quiz here to find out which is best for you. Once you find your favourite, you won’t want to use anything else!

You can shop the Daywear Sorbet Creme here, and the Eye Cooling GelCreme here.
