AUTUMN MODE.
Honestly, I love autumn. The falling leaves, the colours, the perfect excuse to drink hot chocolate every day – and for me, a time to recharge and spend more time with myself. I think I start to assess my year around this time – ahead of early January – as it feels like a real change in season and it always make me look inward- a time for myself before the festive season takes over. I take time for myself, write, think, read and love it.
It’s also a great time of year for clothes – I love mixing classics like jumpers and jeans that I can mix and match together, plus a couple pairs of comfortable weather proof boots. Comfortable underwear, statement earrings and a cosy hat and gloves are in my bag at all times.
For my daily outfits head here (and add it to your bookmarks!), as I try to link all my clothes that are still available.

JUMPERS & JACKETS
I honestly wear the same 3 jumpers and jackets through autumn and most likely winter too, so I don’t mind investing in a piece that will last me a few months – or years! I have favourite jumpers and jackets that I love wearing every year.
JEANS & SKIRTS
As I’m sure you know I live in jeans, and again that’s why I invest in good fitting, well made, long lasting styles. I have the Redone Stovepipe (below) in classic blue and recently got them in black too as I know I’ll wear them lots. I also love the look of a silky skirt with a fluffy jumper and the one below looks so chic.
SHOES
I mainly invest in new boots at the time of year, styles that go with my jeans and I can slip on easily everyday and not be worried about them getting rained on or muddy. Saying that, I also do love me a pair of sneakers and the new neon orange Stan Smiths (below) have replaced my beat up classic green ones that I’ve had for years. I feel they still look chic for a meeting as they’re such a classic style.
UNDERWEAR
You don’t want to have to be trying to sort your underwear out under lots of layers, so let’s keep it simple. That doesn’t mean boring though – I think there’s actually something really sexy about neutral underwear that isn’t all lace.
JEWELLERY
If I’m wearing essentially the same 3 jumpers I like mixing up my jewellery a bit more and tend to go for bigger pieces like these big Missoma hoops (below) that make the outfit a bit more interesting and personal.
See how I wear these items in the photos below.
