THE LOLITA LIST: HAIR

It was about time I added hair care to the Lolita List series!

As ever I’ve linked every product under the header description for each skincare category, simply click on the image if you want to find out more about any product – they are affiliate links so I will make a small commission from any sales. AD. I really appreciate anything you buy through these links as it helps support me in the work I do. I’ve tried to include an option to fit each budget for each category.

If you are in the US, AU, CA or EU you can find most of the products below here.

You can find my lists for skincare here, makeup here, and bodycare here.

SCALP
healthy hair comes from a healthy scalp. I love to use a scalp serum overnight and after washing, and if you haven’t ever scrubbed your scalp… you’re in for a treat!

SHAMPOO
clean, without drying it out. I’ve been especially impressed by how hydrating the bar shampoos are.

CONDITIONER
hydrating but nothing too heavy – I want my hair to have some life!

MASK
nothing to weigh down the hair, just super hydrating. I love using a mask overnight in the summer or while I’m soaking in the tub in winter.

SERUM
serum, for hair? Oh yes. The lighter version of an oil to help define curls or minimise fly aways.

OIL
I’ve had a tricky past with oils as someone who’s hair get’s oily so easily – but these are my top crew that give me shiny rather than oily locks.

TINTS + COLOUR CARE
I’m very low maintenance when it comes  to colour care (I tend to dye my hair once or twice a year a richer brown) and these products make at home maintenance super simple (and mess free!)

VOLUMISING SPRAY
Praise be for volume sprays from me and my fellow thin haired women!

DRY SHAMPOO
no powdery scalps here, just removing excess oil.

SALT / WAVE SPRAY
helping define curls rather than adding crunch.

TOOLS
from hair ties that don’t snag to silk turban and the best hair dryers.

WAX + STYLING
I like to use these when I’m doing an up do to help smooth down my hair, and go over it with a hair brush for a super sleek look.
