DOUBLE CLEANSING.

What is double cleansing?

Double cleansing means using two different cleansers to properly remove dirt, dead skin cells, makeup, SPF and excess sebum from the skin.

How and when do you do it?

Every night, I start with a balm cleanser which I massage onto dry skin, I like to spend at least a minute massaging it in (you can even go over your eyes with it) to make sure it really turns into a milky texture – also a great time to get some facial massage in! Then I remove it using a flannel soaked under warm water. Follow with a gel or foam based cleanser and remove with the flannel again. I love that each ELEMIS cleansing balm comes with it’s own flannel – so handy!

1- the first cleanse removes dirt on top of the skin with a BALM

2- the second cleanse cleans the skin itself with a GEL or FOAM

What are the benefits?

The benefits of properly cleansing the skin means less blocked pores, brighter skin and the rest of your products being able to absorb properly into the skin!

The NEW Naked Cleansing Balm – sensitive skin rejoice!
ELEMIS have just launched the new fragrance and mineral oil free cleansing balm. If you have sensitive skin essential oils can sometimes irritate so this is the perfect product to make sure your skin stays calm and nourished while still managing to do you nightly double cleanse.

After double cleansing, apply a serum and / or oil to lock in hydration, calm and add glow.
