FRANCE ON FILM.

An end of summer last minute trip to visit my cousin where we managed to do a road trip with neither of us driving!

The spots we did were Marseille, took the train to Cannes, and then 20-30 minutes taxi’s between Saint Paul de Vence, Nice and Cap Ferrat. And then we flew up to Paris for a couple nights.

I definitely got my fix of sunshine and swims and feel ready for Autumn to hit!

A couple stand out hotels:

  • Hotel Amour, Nice
I thought this might be more style than substance, but it was so well priced and we had a beautiful big room with an incredible marble shower room (see below) as well as access to Hotel Amour Plage beach club. Highly recommend!

  • Le Mas de Pierre, Saint Paul de Vence
this was our ‘fancy’ hotel stay that I treated us to for a couple nights in the countryside. It was really beautiful, with 2 pools (one classic, one that was surrounded by sand and looked more like Mexico than Provence) and the most delicious food.

  • Le Pigalle, Paris *press stay
My home away from home in Pigalle, one of my favourite areas to stay in Paris. Waking up to the view from my window and loving the hussle and bussle of the cafe and bar downstairs, it’s always a winner.
