SUMMER SKIN IN 6 WEEKS.
prepping for summer skin in 6 weeks
I get asked so much about prepping skin for summer or how to smooth skin I thought I’d do a 6 week guide of sorts that we can all join in on to feel great in our skin for summer. This is about smoothing, hydrating and prepping skin for sun (not changing body size!)
I’ve included headers below with the routine we can each follow until summer officially starts end of June, but of course you’ll see results in a couple of weeks and can do this at any stage you like!
smooth skin from top to toe
this is about having smooth skin by removing dead skin cells and adding a real glow to your body with hydration, while also reducing cellulite
the regime
– dry brushing daily, 1x a week scrub, use cream &/ oil at least every 2 days on body, oil feet every night before bed
dry brushing works best when done consistently, so whether you have 10 minutes or just 1 before a shower – start at your legs and always work upwards towards the heart in sweeping motions. Every little counts.

add glow (and prep for sun exposure)
with your smooth, hydrated skin thanks to the above, you can get skin ready for sun exposure by gently easing it in and using a natural fake tan to add a glow.
the regime
– pre tanning mist 2/3x a week (daily nearer to sun exposure), gradual tan twice a week, daily supplement

reduce ingrown hairs, keratosis pilaris and body breakouts
many of the above will naturally help with these too, but these are specifically created to help tackle these concerns thanks to chemical exfoliants (often more gentle than physical scrub!) like AHA’s and BHA’s.
